The Samsung F110 phone provides professional-quality, individual coaching for athletes of all levels. With coaching narration, stats tracking and music features, the miCoach phone helps you get the most from your fitness routine.

As you run, your Samsung F110 phone will interpret information from the adidas miCoach Heart Rate Monitor and Stride Sensor about your pace, distance and heart rates in order to simultaneously deliver coaching narration you can hear. During your run, you can double-tap the phone screen to get an instant voice update on your workout stats and current heart rate zone.

When you finish each run, you can upload your details to the miCoach website, your home base for all coaching history, your schedule, notes and feedback.

Developed in partnership with Samsung, the miCoach phone (model SGH-F110) is the only phone that works with the adidas miCoach Heart Rate Monitor and Stride Sensor.

COMPATIBILITY WITH NEW miCoach WEBSITE

The additions of miCoach Pacer and miCoach Zone have improved the ways in which you measure real-time progress and advance in a workout plan. The new devices' increased functionality has enabled miCoach to add many powerful features to the new website. Some of these features, however, are not compatible with the Samsung F110 phone:

More Detailed Coaching Zones

The Samsung F110 phone uses percentages of Maximum Heart Rate (Max HR) to create your miCoach zones. To better customize your miCoach Zones, the website now employs a more detailed approach by creating zones based off two points: the top of your Red Zone and the top of your Green Zone. The top of the Red is the highest heart rate that you should train to, and the top of the Green is the threshold where your efforts become increasingly difficult to sustain.

Adjusting Zones within Coaching Settings

It's important to remember that changes to your Max HR on your Samsung F110 phone change your miCoach zones as well. You can directly change your Max HR on your phone, doing so will update the values for top of Green and top of Red when you sync with the web.

On the web, only adjustments made to the top of Green will affect your Max HR when you sync back to your Samsung F110 phone. To locate the optimized Max HR miCoach calculated from adjustments you made to the top of your Green zone, go to your Gear Settings and select Mobile.

Please note:If you adjust your top of Red independently of your top of Green, your Yellow and Red zones may not match between the phone and the website.

Creating Custom Workouts

The Samsung F110 phone cannot download custom workouts created from a plan workout. However, you can still schedule the workout then manually enter your stats after you finish your run.

Scheduling Assessment Workouts

The assessment workout feature is built into the Samsung F110 and will not download to the phone for you to run against. Select the Assessment Workout from the phone's workouts list within "Start."

Syncing to the Web

The miCoach Manager software has been specifically developed for use with miCoach Pacer. Continue to use miCoach Synchronizer software to sync your Samsung F110 phone with the web.

MEMORY & STORING DATA

The Samsung F110 phone is not compatible with an external hard drive. If the hard drive on your phone is full, you'll need to sync with your PC to retrieve your workout information.

USING miCoach WITHOUT A SIM CARD

You don't need a SIM card to use the miCoach workout program on the phone. However, you do need a SIM card to use the phone's communication features.

Your music is the soul of your workout. miCoach makes it easy to download all your favorite tunes. Need a little motivation to finish that last interval or walk that extra block? Cue up your Motivation Song, the music you turn to when you need an extra burst of energy.

Samsung F110 Phone Compatible Stride Sensor

The Stride Sensor provides miCoach (and you!) with detailed data about your unique stride pattern, distance and speed. Use the Stride Sensor when running outdoors or on a treadmill, walking or using the elliptical machine. The Stride Sensor senses your forward motion, so you won't need it for any gym workouts or equipment that uses vertical foot motion (like a stair climber, rowing machine or bicycle).
