Phone Features
The clamshell T229 has a squarish body with rounded corners, and its face features an off-center monochrome display (96 x 96 pixels) that provides caller ID, current time, signal strength and battery level. The internal 1.7-inch LCD has a 128 x 160-pixel resolution with support for 65K colors. The internal phonebook can store up to 1000 contact entries, each capable of storing up to five numbers and an e-mail address as well as picture ID (which displays on incoming calls). It does not include a memory expansion slot.

The T229 includes a built-in VGA camera that can capture still photos up to 640 x 480 pixels (it doesn't include video recording capabilities), and it includes a 4x digital zoom.
