Released for T-Mobile, the Sidekick LX (Tony Hawk Edition) puts a personal design on the traditional Sidekick LX by adding a skateboard look. Resembling the top of a skateboard, the bottom cover has a texture-like grip-tape and eight simulated screws. The slate-grey shell also has blue and white design accents and Tony's hawk graphic. Special customizations include a Tony Hawk theme featuring a video of Tony performing tricks, a Tony-inspired background, and skate-themed swivel screen open and close sounds. The Tony Hawk Sidekick is the first Sidekick to offer video record, play and share. It offers enhancements such as a more personalized web browsing experience, stereo Bluetooth support, easier downloads and more options for theme and background personalization. It also features web browsing, MySpace access, instant messaging and email.
